New Features! I'm on Cuteable!

I was notified by Lynsey at Cuteable today that my torso pendants are part of her Flickr Friday feature! Check them out here:

Additionally, my cranberry torso pendant was featured in this fun "Pink Tropicana" treasury; one of my Etsy friends notified me that it was on the front page of CraftCult this afternoon too! Wow!

Etsy Treasury East...Interesting Concept

By now you've all heard of Etsy's new Treasury East, that allows everyone to make treasuries that never expire, any time you want. I like the idea, but I do think they should expire after a certain amount of time and there should be a limit as to how many T Easts a shop can create. Otherwise, I feel as though everyone will try to promote their treasuries like crazy in order to get noticed...and with the abundance of T Easts, they'll get buried quickly. With that said, for a little while, there wasn't a way to tell if you were in any T Easts or not, until now. There was a link that was active, and has since been removed, however, Craftopolis has updated their site with another feature where you can type in your shop name and see which T Easts you appear in, if any. Hearts & Hands United Blog Feature! //Treasuries

I'm a member of 3 great teams on Etsy, one of them being Hearts and Hands United.The members are so amazing and lovely people from all over the world to talk to; I took a hiatus from my shop last year and jumped back in back in January. I was welcomed right away by a great group of people who are not only interested in promoting their own items but in getting to know YOU as a person (not to mention fellow crafter). There is such a diverse group of talented individuals, some knit or crochet, some sew, some make jewelry out of various mediums, etc. All have amazing shops and I have spent a great deal of time in all of them, getting to know their items. Lastly, I was shocked to hear about the earthquake in Chile, now I hear there's a tsunami warning in Hawaii and here in California. My thoughts are with those who were affected by the earthquake and I hope that all the Hawaiians and Californians stay safe.

I've really been feeling the creativity bug this weekend and have been coming up with lots of ideas for new things! It mostly happens in my twilight stage of sleep lol, so I have to remember the ideas in the morning.
